Our Process

How It Works

A Clear Process From Arrival to Collection

Every trophy is handled through a structured process designed to keep your order organised, properly tracked, and carefully prepared. From the moment your trophy arrives at our facility, our team follows clear steps to protect the trophy, confirm your request, and complete the work with the care it deserves.

Step 01

Trophy Delivery or Drop-Off

Clients contact us to arrange delivery of their trophies or visit our facility in Brandvlei, Randfontein, to drop them off in person. This first step allows our team to receive the trophies properly and begin the booking process.

Step 02

Booking, Inspection & Tagging

Once the trophies arrive, they are booked in under a contract number. We record the client details, trophy details, and requested work before completing a visual inspection and marking each item for tracking.

Step 03

Quote Confirmation & Deposit

Our office contacts the client using the contract number as reference. The invoice confirms the requested work, and once the required deposit has been received, the team can begin with the agreed taxidermy process.

Step 04

Preparation & Taxidermy Work

The next steps depend on the selected service. Shoulder mounts, pedestal mounts, full mounts, skull preparation, tanning, dip and ship, and custom displays each follow their own preparation, drying, and finishing process.

Step 05

Completion & Final Payment

When the requested work is complete, our office contacts the client to confirm that the trophies are ready. Any outstanding balance must be settled before the trophies can be released for collection or transport.

Step 06

Collection or Transport Preparation

On collection, clients can view their completed trophies before they are prepared for safe transport. Once everything is confirmed, the trophies are loaded and signed out through the original contract.

Please Note

Quality Taxidermy Takes Time

Taxidermy is not a one- or two-week process. Correct preparation, drying, tanning, mounting, and finishing all take time, and some waiting periods cannot be rushed. This careful process helps protect the final result and ensures your trophy receives the attention it deserves.
